Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Parks & Recreation or related field is required.
• Three years of experience as a Recreation Coordinator, Programmer or Specialist, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and evaluate assigned staff and procedures.
• Coordinate daily work activities, schedules, staffing, and budget monitoring for programs and events.
• Plan, implement, and coordinate diversified recreation and sports programs and facility use.
• Coordinate facility and grounds use, schedule rentals, and manage event logistics.
• Assist in developing and implementing the budget for facilities, programs, or events.
• Coordinate public relations materials and promotions for events and facilities.
• Communicate with departments, partners, vendors, and the public to coordinate activities.
