Job summary

Forsyth County Government is seeking a seasoned Recreation professional to coordinate athletic and leisure programs and supervise seasonal staff. You will manage registrations, budgets, and facility use while upholding safety and county rules.

The role emphasizes program development, community promotion, and collaboration with staff to deliver diverse community recreation experiences. A Georgia driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Park and Recreation Administration or related field with 1 year of related experience or equivalent training.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
• CPRP or CTRS status preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates staff including training and performance appraisals.
• Coordinates daily work activities and assigns tasks.
• Ensures compliance with codes, safety rules, and policies.
