Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Lead Accountant for Corporate Reconciliation to ensure timely completion of tasks and robust internal controls. You will perform general ledger and DDA reconciliations, research exceptions, and collaborate with multiple lines of business to resolve issues.

The role includes process improvement and mentoring junior staff. The position involves preparing regulatory reporting, documenting procedures, and leading training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years accounting or finance audit experience.
• Relevant certifications in accounting or finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex reconciliations and resolve exceptions.
• Coordinate and complete regulatory reporting review.
• Lead training sessions for new processes and document procedures.
• Support audit requests with understanding of risks and controls.
• Analyze and escalate reporting issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Mentor analysts and drive process improvements.
