Job summary

AutoNation in Denton, TX is seeking an Advanced Technician to perform vehicle repair and routine maintenance per dealer and factory standards. You will diagnose issues, conduct multi-point inspections, and communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to keep customers informed and confident in their vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years automotive technician experience preferred.
• Automotive technical training varies by store needs.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on repair order per dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make safety/reliability recommendations.
• Document work on repair orders and maintain tool inventory.
• Stay updated with factory bulletins and participate in training classes.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
