This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Reclamation Specialist to lead impactful land reclamation projects across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. What you can expect to do here :

  • You will lead multi-disciplinary reclamation projects from planning through execution and closure.
  • You will develop and advance the reclamation team strategy.
  • You will develop and implement site-specific reclamation plans, including soil handling, revegetation, erosion control, and habitat restoration.
  • You will oversee reclamation activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and client expectations.
  • You will prepare technical reports, regulatory submissions, and closure documentation.
  • You will collaborate with clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • You will mentor junior and intermediate staff.
  • You will contribute to business development through proposal writing and client engagement.

What you'll bring to WSP :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, Ecology, or equivalent experience in reclamation.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in land reclamation, preferably in consulting or resource sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial and federal reclamation standards and permitting processes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing field programs and supervising contractors.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Eligibility for professional designation (e.g., P.Ag., P.Biol., R.P.Bio., or equivalent).
