Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Rebuild Technician to execute the equipment rebuild program and improve strategies across facilities. You will dismantle, repair, and rebuild critical machinery, train maintenance staff, and participate in root-cause analysis to cut downtime and costs.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to OSHA requirements, and collaboration across Maintenance, Reliability, Production, and Quality teams while working primarily during non-production hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total related experience.
• Experience rebuilding, maintaining, repairing, or improving mechanical equipment.
• Ability to understand schematics, prints, P&IDs.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
• Strong coaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the site rebuild program and support improvements to rebuild strategies.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of machinery.
• Dismantle, repair, and rebuild equipment critical to safe operations.
• Identify and implement improvement strategies for parts, materials, and equipment modifications.
• Participate in root cause analysis to reduce downtime and cost.
• Train mechanics on preventive maintenance programs.
• Lead and coach maintenance teams to ensure execution of roles.
• Manage budgets and resources to support operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
• Work extended hours on the plant floor and weekend shifts when needed.
