Job summary

Optum is seeking a Senior Rebate Audit Analyst to support external audits focused on rebate administration and ensure accuracy in claims processing. The role interfaces with internal teams and external audit partners to provide timely documentation and clear communications.

The ideal candidate holds PBM/audit experience, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and the ability to interpret complex contract language.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PBM and/or Claims Audit experience.
• 1+ years of Rebate Administration experience.
• Intermediate project management skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and data handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication for meetings with leadership.
• Ability to simplify complex topics for clear understanding.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate end-to-end management of external client audits focused mainly on rebate administration.
• Support manufacturer billing rebate audits conducted virtually and on-site when needed.
• Request and obtain rebate documentation from internal teams within turnaround times.
• Read and interpret client contracts and rebate reporting.
• Research to ensure claims are correctly accounted for in minimum rebate guarantees.
• Respond to claim inquiries and audit reports from external firms.
• Participate in department projects and meet productivity and quality standards.
