Job summary

Experience with Ethernet/TCP/IP, serial interfaces, Qt/PyQt/OpenGL, and ROS is preferred in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or higher degrees with appropriate experience.
• Expertise in Python and C++ environments, ideally with ROS or device-level communications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time visualization applications in a collaborative team.
• Own key software features from concept through production.
• Collaborate with hardware, QA, and DevOps for seamless integration.
• Design and maintain network/serial interfaces between desktop apps and hardware.
• Integrate asynchronous device communication with UI and data layers.
• Optimize performance for low latency and high reliability in a regulated environment.
• Develop and maintain robust testing strategies (unit/integration).
• Document designs and workflows for team clarity.
• Contribute to process improvements and participate in evaluations.
