Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of RTP/RTCP and secure transport protocols.
• Experience with low-latency two-way media streams and congestion control.
• Hands-on experience with lab and production AB testing methodologies.
• Experience developing software on Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RTP/RTCP-based solutions to deliver highly interactive, ultra-low latency streaming across ISP networks worldwide.
• Refine and improve heuristics for speed and latency estimation, congestion control, and loss recovery for RTP-based media streams.
• Collaborate with server, client, and data analytics teams to evaluate and refine designs through lab and production (A/B) testing.
• Implement and deploy new ideas in the server-side real-time transport stack.
• Partner with remote engineering and product teams across multiple time zones.
