Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking highly capable software engineers to design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats, and to build real-time radar data processing systems that track dozens to hundreds of targets.

You will collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to validate performance, optimize software for low-latency environments, and support customer demonstrations and field tests. A strong CS/Math background and C++/Python proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in software/algorithms for defense or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for novel air and missile threats, including multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination techniques.
• Develop high-performance, real-time software systems that process radar sensor data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets.
• Build and leverage modeling & simulation environments to validate tracking performance, quantify system capabilities, and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate directly with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems.
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments where milliseconds matter.
• Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers to drive informed decisions.
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure successful deployment and operational effectiveness
