Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking software engineers to design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats.

You will develop high-performance, real-time software that processes radar data and tracks dozens to hundreds of targets, collaborating with radar engineers and system architects to integrate solutions into combat-ready defense systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related technical field (or equivalent).
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python with a solid math foundation.
• Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats, including multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination techniques.
• Develop high-performance, real-time software systems that process radar data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of targets.
• Build and leverage modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems.
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments where milliseconds matter.
• Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams and leadership to drive decisions.
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure deployment and effectiveness.
