Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats. You will develop real-time software that processes radar data, maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of targets, and collaborate with radar engineers to integrate tracking into defense systems.

This role requires strong C++ and Python, a solid math background, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent)
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations
• Understanding of design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats
• Develop real-time software systems that process radar data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of targets
• Build and leverage modeling & simulation environments to validate tracking performance
• Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments
• Communicate technical concepts to cross-functional teams and leadership
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure deployment and effectiveness
