Job summary
Zel Technologies LLC seeks a Senior Computer Systems/Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test complex hardware–software systems for DoD and Navy programs. The role requires extensive experience in computer hardware engineering, software development, RealTime systems, and integrated architectures across the systems lifecycle.
The engineer will work on requirements management, system integration, and missile interfaces, including SM2/SM6 and ESSM, utilizing VxWorks SMP
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active Secret clearance.
- Ten years of professional technical experience with at least five years in the specified domains.
- Experience in DoD/Navy programs and in hardware/software integration.
Responsibilities
- Perform hardware engineering, software design, coding, and compilation for integrated systems.
- Define and manage computer and software requirements with traceability across lifecycle.
- Integrate hardware and software components including missile subsystems.
- Develop and test RealTime VxWorks SMP software.
- Prepare technical reports and support reviews and decisions.
