Job summary

ZelTech is seeking a resourceful and innovative systems engineer with multi-discipline experience to integrate wireless/over-the-air systems and sensor-driven technologies. The role involves on-site system development, prototype integration, and test support for a government customer at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida.

The candidate will lead hardware development, develop requirements, and prepare statements of work and technical documentation, ensuring design feasibility and safety

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Top-Secret/SCI clearance required.
• BA/BS in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Eng with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Successful background and drug screening check.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for in-house technology development initiatives and feasibility assessments.
• Apply systems engineering processes and develop requirements as needed.
• Provide technical and logistics documentation for design improvements and performance requirements.
• Integrate multiple components and COTS/GOTS systems into various payloads at system level.
• Lead hardware development and adapt vendor-manufactured hardware to meet government needs.
• Prepare statements of work, cost estimates, presentations and reports.
• Support planning, design, development, and testing activities for research and demonstrations.
• Recommend design, operation, maintenance and safety improvements.
