Job summary

Zel Technologies LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise for DoD systems, leading lifecycle engineering activities from requirements through testing and documentation. You will develop architectures, support integration and test, and produce engineering artifacts for senior program decisions.

The role requires DoD experience, leadership in technical teams, and the ability to interact with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

Ten years of DoD systems engineering experience or six years with a technical bachelor’s degree.
Active secret security clearance required.
Experience developing requirements, system design, and interface definitions.

Responsibilities

Lead systems engineering activities from concept through test and evaluation.
Develop and maintain system architecture, requirements, interface definitions, and engineering documentation.
Produce DoDAF-compliant architecture products (OVs, OSDs).
Support integration and testing of complex systems (weapons, launchers, subsystems).
Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and technical analyses for program decisions.
Prepare technical reports, SEPs, TDPs, and other engineering artifacts.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and government stakeholders.
Provide input for formal systems engineering events, reviews, and audits.
