Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a SCADA Specialist to perform real time SCADA system support and administration for a Pipeline SCADA system. This position interacts with Pipeline Control to ensure they can control and monitor pipelines safely and securely through SCADA HMI systems.

The SCADA Specialist will work with Field Personnel on integrating RTUs and PLCs that are needed for real time data, coordinating with IT and Control Center, and providing 24x7 support on a rotational basis while

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent; experience considered in lieu of degree.
2-5 years of experience with SCADA systems.
CygNet SCADA experience is a plus; other automation/SCADA systems considered.
Gas/liquids pipeline experience preferred with knowledge of measurement technologies, process control automation, device protocols, networking and telecommunications.

Responsibilities

Configure and administer the SCADA system.
Databases and graphical displays for control center operations.
System interfaces, data processes and reporting.
Collaborate with Field Personnel, CRM and Control Center on SCADA integration of field sites.
Participate in lineouts testing to meet regulatory requirements.
Provide 24x7 support to the Control Center on a rotational basis.
Document changes, obtain approvals, and submit changes.
