Job summary

Energy Transfer Family of Partnerships is seeking a SCADA Associate Specialist to perform system support and maintenance for a pipeline SCADA system, including collaboration with Engineering, CRM and Control Center teams.

Ideal candidates have a degree in CS/engineering or related experience, with 0–2+ years in SCADA. The role requires problem solving, teamwork and the ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent; or relevant experience.
• 0–2+ years of experience with SCADA systems.
• OASyS DNA SCADA experience is a plus; other SCADA systems acceptable.
• Preferred experience in refined products or pipeline environments with measurement tech, control automation and networking.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to multi-task.
• Detail-oriented with good coding practices and testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow department and project standards and procedures.
• Learn team role and contribute toward team goals.
• Report status to IT SCADA management, team members, and clients.
• Acquire knowledge on available tools and procedures.
• Work with Engineering, CRM and Control Center on SCADA integration.
• Participate in CAT and point-to-point testing to meet regulatory requirements.
• Configure and test communications from SCADA to remote devices.
• Provide 24×7 support to the Control Center on a rotational basis.
• Document changes, obtain approvals, and submit changes.
• Travel 0–30% as required.
