Job summary

Epic Games seeks a Senior Rendering Engineer for the Fortnite Desktop team to enhance PC visuals. You will improve rendering systems, optimize performance across a wide range of hardware, and design new features to deliver an industry-leading player experience.

You will collaborate with Unreal Engine teams and vendors, profiling large codebases and solving complex graphics challenges to push the platform forward.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ knowledge and multi-threaded programming techniques.
• Real-time rendering experience in games or computer graphics.
• Experience in profiling and optimizing a large codebase.
• Knowledge of Windows OS APIs and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve stability and performance problems for Fortnite on PC.
• Improve rendering features and systems across varied hardware and software configurations.
• Design and implement new rendering capabilities for desktop gameplay.
• Collaborate with Epic teams to address complex rendering challenges.
• Work with GPU vendors to resolve technical issues and improve graphics drivers.
