Job summary

Uber is hiring a Senior ML Engineer for its Dynamic Supply Pricing team within the Marketplace. You will design, build, and productionize end-to-end ML solutions for billions of trips and real-time pricing. You will develop novel pricing approaches using ML and optimization.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with product managers and scientists, and help set the technical direction for the team while delivering high-impact results across multiple quarters.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.S., or bachelor’s degree in CS/ML/OR or related field with strong impact.
• 4+ years building and deploying production ML models and optimization.
• Experience with large-scale data systems and real-time processing.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, or Go and modern ML algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ML solutions for large-scale distributed systems.
• Develop pricing approaches using ML, game theory, and optimization.
• Provide technical mentorship and define team direction.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and scientists on high-impact solutions.
