Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) in Utah seeks an Embedded Engineer IV to own the embedded software for ASI's autonomous vehicles. You write production C++ for real-time and embedded systems, near sensors and actuators, and collaborate across perception, guidance, navigation, and control as needed.

You will validate software on real hardware in lab and field, set technical direction, mentor engineers, and contribute to the Advanced Prototype team to shape early designs.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ for real-time/embedded systems.
• Deep embedded software experience near hardware.
• Track record shipping production embedded software.
• Comfort across perception, GNC, or similar domains.
• Debugging on real hardware with sensors.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring.
• Bachelor's in CS, EE, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Exposure to robotics/autonomy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and own embedded software for ASI's autonomous vehicles.
• Write production C++ for real-time and embedded systems.
• Integrate software with sensors, actuators, and vehicle hardware.
• Work across perception and GNC as needed.
• Validate and debug software on real hardware in lab and field.
• Own features from design through testing to deployment.
• Set technical direction and mentor other engineers.
• Partner across software, electrical, and mechanical teams.
