Clear Capital in Reno, NV seeks a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operation of high-volume data platforms. You will collaborate with data engineering and product teams to build robust, scalable data services in a hybrid cloud environment and own critical operations from build to retirement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of AWS cloud experience in a similar role.
• Strong experience with complex Redshift deployments.
• IaC experience using Terraform.
• Deep proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Observability and monitoring at scale.
• Knowledge of data governance initiatives and technologies.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) and orchestration tools.
• Linux administration and agile project practices.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CS/IS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale data platforms for performance and scalability.
• Support Redshift and PostgreSQL databases across hybrid cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to build next-generation products.
• Maintain high availability, DR, and backup/restore processes.
• Automate builds, create documentation, and improve observability.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings.
• Develop Python and shell scripts for data migration and development.
• Engage with data engineers on data warehouse technologies and governance.
