Job summary

CloudPSO is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to develop and support an existing operational platform for alternative investment managers. You will work with a Technical Lead to build features, improve reliability and support customer deployments.

The platform includes configurable interfaces, data ingestion, normalization, scheduling, calculations and reporting. Each customer has an isolated PostgreSQL database.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade full‑stack features.
• Strong backend and frontend development skills.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL fundamentals.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and integrating external systems.
• Experience with background processing, scheduled tasks and error handling.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization and secure development.
• Experience writing automated tests and using Git and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging across apps, databases and integrations.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to take ownership of work within a small delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features, backend services and APIs.
• Build and improve data-ingestion workflows with APIs, SFTP, object storage, and uploads.
• Implement data validation, normalization and error reporting.
• Maintain scheduled jobs with retries, time zones, and calendars.
• Write and optimize SQL and perform migrations.
• Preserve historical snapshots and audit trails.
• Implement server-side access controls and secure data handling.
• Create unit and integration tests for critical workflows.
• Investigate issues and document causes and fixes.
• Participate in code reviews, releases and technical docs.
• Coordinate with Technical Lead and DevOps on installations and upgrades.
