Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience building and shipping high-performance systems in game engines, real-time simulation, robotics, AR/VR, or similar.
• Deep proficiency in C++, focused on clean, efficient, maintainable code in large codebases.
• Hands‑on experience with production 3D rendering systems, mesh/geometry processing, LOD, and related pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship 3D engine systems for avatar and environment geometry, including mesh processing, LOD, streaming, and performance systems.
• Partner with Rendering, Avatar, Studio and external developers to ensure features support great experiences.
• Profile and optimize engine performance across devices, with emphasis on mobile.
• Lead by example, mentor engineers, and maintain high standards for code health.
