Job summary

Sound Transit seeks a Senior Project Manager – Real Property to lead complex real estate projects, including acquisition, relocation, and related activities. You will guide staff and consultants, monitor schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency rules.

You will negotiate with property owners, assess appraisals, and prepare documentation for closings, while promoting Sound Transit’s equity and safety standards. Hybrid work and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, insurance and real estate, finance, or closely related field.
• Five years in real estate including real property acquisition, relocation assistance, and real estate appraisal and review; one year leading or supervising staff and projects.

Responsibilities

• Directs and mentors staff and consultants in real property objectives across assigned projects.
• Direct management of scope, schedule, costs, personnel, and contracts and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversees due diligence including title, survey, and appraisal; coordinates meetings to validate scope, schedule, and budget.
• Represents the Agency in relocation-related briefings and prepares supporting documentation.
