Job summary

Altus Group is seeking a Senior Consultant, Managed Services to review institutional‑grade CRE appraisals and validate valuation theory, assumptions and analysis. You will evaluate inputs such as cap and discount rates and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure consistency across a large real estate portfolio.

You will work with Senior Managers, the Senior Director and the India team to share insights and support standardized review practices while pursuing MAI and other professional growth

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience reviewing appraisals for institutional‑grade CRE.
• Maintain Certified General Appraiser license; MAI on track.
• Proficient with Argus Enterprise; Rockport Val or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cap rates, discount rates, and market conditions.
• Able to evaluate methodologies, assumptions and conclusions carefully.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review institutional appraisals for CRE, evaluating theory, methodology, assumptions and analyses.
• Assess valuation inputs such as cap rates and discount rates for reasonableness.
• Support portfolio valuation oversight across ~50 real estate funds.
• Collaborate with Senior Managers, Senior Director, and India team on findings.
• Document and communicate review findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and AI integration in valuation processes.
