Job summary

Confidential Jobs is seeking a Director of Real Estate to lead the enterprise-wide real estate strategy across retail, production, and corporate facilities in a highly regulated environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years of progressive commercial real estate experience with leadership over multi-site portfolios.
• Experience leading end-to-end real estate strategy incl. site selection, lease negotiation, development, and portfolio optimization.
• Strong negotiation and landlord relationship management with favorable terms.
• Experience navigating zoning, land use, and permitting at municipal/state level.
• Experience in highly regulated environments with compliance and risk management.
• Excellent executive-level communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the company's commercial real estate portfolio.
• Lead site identification and market analysis, including zoning and feasibility.
• Direct and negotiate commercial leases and amendments with Legal.
• Oversee real estate project execution, including entitlement, permitting, construction, and openings.
• Partner with Compliance and Government Affairs for regulatory approvals.
• Maintain real estate documentation, audit-ready records.
• Develop standardized processes, templates, and controls to improve efficiency.
• Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders and landlords, brokers, attorneys, municipalities, and consultants.
• Support executive leadership with portfolio reporting, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.
• Provide leadership in a fast-paced, regulated environment, modeling accountability and urgency.
