BRMi is seeking a Real Estate Lending Data Engineer (Level 3) to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and systems for collection, connection, and storage of data in a mortgage data ecosystem. The role emphasizes data quality, reliability, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet business objectives.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in data engineering, cloud platforms, data warehousing, and ETL, with leadership capabilities to guide junior engineers and drive project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Java, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud data platforms ( Databricks, Azure ).
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations for secure data exchange.
• Support and enhance mortgage data platforms and data pipelines.
• Lead small projects and initiatives, mentoring junior engineers.
