Job summary

Everforth Apex is hiring a Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and mortgage data platforms within the lending technology ecosystem. You will work with stakeholders to align data solutions with business goals and ensure reliability across large-scale data environments.

The role requires 5–7 years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and Python/Java skills, and hands-on cloud experience with Databricks and Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Five to seven years of professional data engineering experience with data warehousing and ETL.
• Advanced programming in Python, Java, and SQL; cloud experience with Databricks and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows for collection, connection, and storage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain secure APIs and integrations for data exchange across systems.
• Support mortgage data platforms and data pipelines across the lending technology ecosystem.
• Develop and enforce data engineering policies and industry best practices to ensure data integrity.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and quality of data systems at scale.
• Lead efforts to optimize data workflows and improve system reliability.
• Foster collaboration with team members and domain SMEs.
• Take a leadership role in planning, executing, and managing small projects.
• Mentor junior members of the data engineering team.
