Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP is seeking a mid- to senior-level Real Estate Finance Associate to join its Debt, Servicing and Restructuring group. The position focuses on real estate and finance matters across the United States, representing lenders in a variety of transactions.

Candidates should have 3 to 7 years of meaningful commercial real estate finance experience, strong writing and communication skills, and be admitted to practice in GA, NC, SC, TN, FL, or TX.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of meaningful commercial real estate finance experience representing bank and/or non-bank lenders.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication skills; positive attitude and great work ethic.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, and/or Texas.

Responsibilities

• Focus on real estate and finance matters across the United States, including senior, mezzanine, and equity financing, acquisitions, dispositions, development, foreclosures, and workouts.
• Represent lenders and commercial real estate developers in a variety of transactions across the United States.
• The role supports an expanding Debt, Servicing and Restructuring practice.
