Job summary

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP is seeking a mid- to senior-level Real Estate Finance Associate to join its Debt, Servicing and Restructuring group. The role focuses on sophisticated real estate finance transactions for lenders and developers across the United States.

Successful candidates will have 3–7 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, strong writing and analytical skills, and bar admission in GA and/or other listed states.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of meaningful commercial real estate finance experience representing bank and/or non-bank lenders.
• Excellent academic credentials and bar admission in GA, NC, SC, TN, FL, and/or TX in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders and developers in real estate finance transactions across the United States.
• Engage in senior, mezzanine, and equity financing, acquisitions, dispositions, development, foreclosures, and workouts.

A Day in the Life

The Debt, Servicing and Restructuring group focuses on real estate and finance matters throughout the United States, including senior, mezzanine, and equity financing, as well as acquisitions, dispositions, development, foreclosures, and workouts. The team represents lenders and commercial real estate developers in a variety of transactions across the United States.

We Know You

You have3 to 7 years of meaningful commercial real estate finance experience representing bank and/or non-bank lenders. You have strong writing, analytical and communication skills, as well as a positive attitude and a great work ethic. You have excellent academic credentials and are admitted to and in good standing with theState Bar of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, and/or Texas.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.

• The salary/wage range for this position is $230,000 - $320,000 annually.
