Job summary

Exelon Corporation seeks an experienced Real Estate & Facilities leader to manage all real estate transactions and facilities operations for the utility. You will lead a team, oversee budgeting and a portfolio of assets, and drive programs that maximize asset value, reduce costs, and deliver high-quality services to internal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Business, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in operations, business, or, commercial and industrial real estate transactions and management or related areas.
• In lieu of degree, 12-15 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex real estate transactions and contracts
• Knowledgeable of Facilities operations and /or Property Management
• Strong analytical and communications skills.
• Demonstrated success in achieving challenging business goals, assuming leadership role and delivering effective solutions to business problems in a corporate setting.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides transactional real estate and facilities management expertise and direction to direct reports, as needed for structuring and negotiating business terms of complex real estate transactions, and for the effective operation of facilities.
• Provides day-to-day support as needed by direct reports to address political, regulatory and other external barriers to achieving goals.
• Ensures that the annual goals specified by the department's business plan are met.
• Interfaces with senior and key managers across the utility to ensure that real estate transactions and facilities supporting Company operations meet the expectations of internal stakeholders.
• Establishes and monitors continuous performance improvement measures, to maximize effectiveness and minimize cost of real estate transactions and facilities operations.
• Exercises leadership to maintain a work environment that promotes diversity, safety and a high level of employee commitment.
• Manages and oversees work, budget, and performance of internal and external building operations and maintenance personnel.
• Collaborates with RE&F Managers corporate wide to ensure that processes for executing real estate transactions and facilities management reflect best real estate and facilities management practices.
