Exelon in Illinois seeks a Senior Real Estate Manager to lead property acquisitions, infrastructure leasing and related negotiations for the company's transmission and distribution operations.

You will supervise Real Estate Representatives, manage budgets, coordinate with regulatory bodies, and drive best practices in real estate transactions while ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery and a focus on diversity and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance or related field.
• 7–10 years of real estate experience with transactions, contract negotiation, valuation and market analysis.
• Real estate license required.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in supervising or managing teams and driving results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee land and rights acquisition for company operations and infrastructure projects (20%).
• Direct real estate staff and allocate resources per strategic plan (10%).
• Provide transactional support to direct reports (10%).
• Manage relationships with regulators, transportation agencies and partners (10%).
• Develop budgets and forecasts for transactions and team projects (5%).
• Lead safety and diversity initiatives and staff development (5%).
• Coordinate external resources for acquisitions (10%).
• Prepare and review appraisals, environmental reports and title work (5%).
• Report status to Manager of Real Estate & Facilities (10%).
• Ensure on-time and on-budget execution (5%).
