Job summary

Soar Staffing, LLC seeks a Controller to lead financial operations for a real estate developer and property owner with multifamily assets. You will oversee accounting, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning across development and property management.

You’ll manage payroll with ADP, supervise the accounting team, liaise with outside CPAs and lenders, drive cash flow optimization, policy development, fixed assets maintenance, and annual tax reporting to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA/CMA preferred.
• Real estate and property management experience preferred.
• 7–10 years of accounting leadership in real estate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting for real estate development and property management.
• End-to-end development and property accounting; month-end close and reports.
• Supervise accounting team, payroll, HR functions; use ADP.
• Liaise with outside CPA and lenders for financing and audits.
• Underwrite development deals and prepare proformas for banks.
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation; ensure tax reporting.
