Irvine Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel to lead construction contracts and related agreements from our Newport Beach headquarters. The role supports entitlement, development, and construction efforts with a centralized contract management approach.

You will draft and negotiate complex development and construction agreements, provide day-to-day counsel to project teams, and manage risk and disputes while collaborating with busy internal clients across divisions.

Formación

• Juris Doctor and admission to the bar in good standing.
• Experience with development transactions and construction contracting.
• Private practice at a leading law firm is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and negotiate development and construction contracts and related agreements.
• Advise project teams on entitlement, scope, and risk mitigation.
• Manage disputes including change orders and mechanics' liens.
• Support cross-divisional strategic initiatives.
• Draft and negotiate telecommunications licenses for company properties.
• Maintain and update contract templates to stay compliant.
