The role focuses on opportunistic CRE credit across senior bridge loans, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity in complex transactions. You will work closely with senior investment professionals through the full lifecycle of transactions, including origination, underwriting, structuring, diligence, negotiation, and closing, gaining

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant commercial real estate experience.
• Strong underwriting experience on CRE transactions.
• Exposure to bridge loans, mezzanine debt, preferred equity or similar.
• Advanced financial modeling and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite new commercial real estate debt and structured investments across senior loans, bridge loans, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models analyzing property-level cash flows, debt sizing, leverage, returns, downside scenarios, and exit strategies.
• Assess investments across a variety of property types and risk profiles.
• Perform detailed due diligence on prospective investments including sponsorship, business plans, market fundamentals, and capital structures.
• Prepare investment committee memoranda and presentations outlining thesis, risks, structure, and expected returns.
• Work with senior professionals through origination, underwriting, structuring, diligence, negotiation, and closing.
