Bank of America in Chicago seeks an experienced Credit Risk Manager for Real Estate Structured Finance. You will oversight credit risk across the US/EMEA, evaluate complex transactions, and guide risk mitigation while partnering with Relationship Managers and Credit Product Specialists.

The role requires a deep CRE/structured finance background, strong modeling skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive CRE lending or risk management experience.
• Experience with CMBS, SASB, and structured finance transactions.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Ability to communicate complex risk concepts to senior management.

Responsabilités

• Set and oversee risk parameter management and guardrails for credit risk.
• Support or oversee the credit approval process and monitor portfolio performance.
• Prepare credit risk reporting and communicate changes to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to policy and risk appetite through due diligence.
• Monitor governance, operational, reputational, and market risks.
• Identify portfolio risks early and coordinate with partners to resolve issues.
• Lead or participate in transaction structuring and approval for complex deals.
• Maintain ongoing loan portfolio oversight including market developments and underwriting trends.
• Collaborate with risk and control functions and support strategic initiatives.
• Mentor RESF team members on risk matters.
