Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Credit Risk Manager for Real Estate Structured Finance (RESF) across the United States and EMEA. You will provide independent credit risk oversight, evaluate opportunities, guide structuring, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

You will partner with Relationship Managers and Credit Product Specialists to assess new opportunities, maintain portfolio oversight, and lead risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related field required.
• Ten years plus experience in commercial real estate lending and credit risk.
• Strong knowledge of CMBS, SASB and structured finance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent credit risk oversight for RESF across the US and EMEA.
• Evaluate and approve complex credit opportunities with risk mitigation guidance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
• Maintain portfolio oversight, perform market analysis and report findings.
• Prepare materials for Quarterly Portfolio Review meetings with senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit Product Specialists to assess opportunities.
• Lead risk governance and communicate risk concepts across risk and frontline teams.
