Job summary

Shulman Rogers is seeking a Senior Real Estate Attorney to represent owners, developers, investors and lenders in commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience negotiating transaction documents, resolving due diligence issues and guiding deals through closing, and working directly with clients to address legal risks and business priorities.

Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
Active admission to the Maryland Bar is required; DC admission is a plus.
5+ years of real estate law experience in commercial transactions preferred.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills with client service focus.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in acquisition, development, financing, leasing and dispositions of commercial real estate.
Draft, review and negotiate purchase & sale agreements, leases, loan documents and related agreements.
Coordinate due diligence, title reviews, surveys and other property documents.
Manage transactions through structuring, closing and post-closing coordination with all parties.
