Job summary

A leading staffing firm is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to manage land rights and negotiate leases in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree and a Juris Doctorate, with a minimum of five years of legal experience, particularly in real estate litigation. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential. This is a 6-month contract position that requires an active Alabama State Bar membership.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience practicing law external to APC is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience involving real estate litigation is strongly preferred.
• Member of the Alabama State Bar (active license) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of the Company's fee owned lands.
• Negotiate and draft complex commercial leases and licenses.
• Resolve complex surveillance matters involving land rights.
