The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, occupancy planning, capital investment management, workplace strategy and facility operations for Amazon’s corporate office portfolio globally. This role is on the GREF Business Partnering (GBP) team whose overarching purpose is to create a bridge between each business unit and GREF to align real estate strategies in support of business objectives. As a Manager on GREF’s Business Partnering team, you will serve as a Business Partner (BP) for AI and Security business units, working with the org's and GREF’s senior leaders.
No two days look the same as a GREF Business Partner. One day you're advising a leader on portfolio strategy for their org's headcount growth and long-term vision. The next, you're presenting a QBR to the leadership team. The day after that, you're solving a space issue in New York. But every day shares one constant: solve the customer's immediate need while building the plan for their future.
About the team: We're a team of six with significant VP exposure. We hold a twice-annual summit to identify pain points and set goals, then work toward them throughout the year, supported by weekly team calls. The team spans Arlington, Seattle, and San Francisco, with each member owning their own org level (OL3) and sharing best practices across the group. Management style is hands-off — support is there when you need it, not imposed when you don't.
