Job summary

City National Bank of Florida is seeking a Real Estate Appraisal Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Real Estate Appraisal function in support of lending activities. You will supervise the appraisal staff, manage workflow, vendor relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance and appraisal independence standards.

You’ll partner with Lending, Credit Administration, Residential, Commercial, Wealth, and Special Assets teams to address valuation issues, monitor performance, drive

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of real estate appraisal, valuation, appraisal review, or appraisal operations experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in residential and commercial real estate lending environments preferred.
• Experience in regulated financial institutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the Real Estate Appraisal team.
• Manage appraisal workflow, assignment distribution, capacity planning, and prioritization.
• Monitor turnaround times and performance metrics; implement improvements.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex appraisal issues and disputes.
• Ensure timely ordering, review, delivery, and tracking of appraisals.
