Job summary

Marquette Management, Inc. in Chicago seeks a Senior Acquisitions Analyst to support investment strategy through underwriting, valuation, and market analysis.

You will lead complex deal analyses and validate underwriting assumptions across acquisitions and portfolio investments. In addition to deal execution, you will mentor Analysts, elevate underwriting standards, and help improve models, processes, and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 2+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or related financial roles.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, preferably within multifamily or commercial real estate.
• Strong understanding of market analysis, deal structures, and risk assessment.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced financial underwriting, valuation, and sensitivity analysis for multifamily and mixed-use acquisition opportunities.
• Evaluate deal structures, pricing, and return metrics to assess risk-adjusted investment performance.
• Review and validate underwriting assumptions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with investment criteria.
• Conduct in-depth market and submarket analysis to support acquisition strategy and portfolio growth.
• Prepare and present investment analysis, memos, and recommendations for executive leadership and investment committees.
• Communicate complex financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Mentor and support Acquisitions Analysts, strengthening overall analytical capabilities and underwriting standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Acquisitions, Asset Management, and leadership teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of underwriting models, processes, and analytical tools.
