Marquette Management, Inc. is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Analyst in Chicago to advance underwriting, valuation, and market analysis for multifamily and mixed-use investments.

You will lead complex deal analysis, validate assumptions, and drive portfolio growth while mentoring junior staff. This role requires 2+ years in real estate acquisitions, strong financial modeling, and the ability to clearly communicate insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 2+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or related financial roles.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, preferably within multifamily or commercial real estate.
• Strong understanding of market analysis, deal structures, and risk assessment.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior talent.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced financial underwriting, valuation, and sensitivity analysis for multifamily and mixed‑use acquisition opportunities.
• Evaluate deal structures, pricing, and return metrics to assess risk‑adjusted investment performance.
• Review and validate underwriting assumptions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with investment criteria.
• Conduct in‑depth market and submarket analysis to support acquisition strategy and portfolio growth.
• Prepare and present investment analysis, memos, and recommendations for executive leadership and investment committees.
• Communicate complex financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders to support informed decision‑making.
• Mentor and support Acquisitions Analysts, strengthening overall analytical capabilities and underwriting standards.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Acquisitions, Asset Management, and leadership teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of underwriting models, processes, and analytical tools.
