JPI is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting across multiple properties. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with leadership, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced real estate environment.

The successful candidate will analyze reconciliations, ensure SOX controls, and provide insightful financial analysis to support liquidity and decision-making.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 4-7 years of relevant full-cycle accounting experience.
• Real estate and/or property management accounting experience preferred.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Public accounting experience a plus.

Mansioni

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Close month-end books for assigned entities/properties.
• Assist with implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., ASC updates).
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
• Record, post, and reconcile journal entries in the general ledger.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Assist with the monthly cash clearing process.
• Review reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare adjusting entries as necessary resulting from reconciliations.
• Research various entries in the general ledger and investigate unusual balances.
• Prepare financial reports and compliance packages for partners/lenders.
• Perform cash flow analysis by business unit, identifying key drivers, trends, and variances to support liquidity management and operational decision-making.
