CLA is a top 10 national professional services firm seeking a Senior to join our CAAS group supporting our Real Estate Industry based out of our Oak Brook IL, Peoria IL, Champaign IL, or Bloomington IL office.

The role focuses on client services, transaction processing, month-end close, and specialized project work for real estate clients within a collaborative team. Bachelor’s degree and accounting experience required; IL wage range posted.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience with client accounting and advisory services is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Develops an understanding of each client’s business operations and manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts.
• Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and payroll postings.
• Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (prepaids, A/R, fixed assets, A/P, accruals) and prepares/reviews financial statements.
• Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit workpapers and tax workpapers for clients.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts; supervise and ensure efficiency and quality.
• Assist with internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
