CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our CAAS Real Estate Industry team based out of Oak Brook IL or Chicago IL. This role supports client service, day-to-day transactions, month-end processing, and quarterly/annual processing alongside senior team members.

Ideal candidates have accounting/financial experience and a Bachelor’s degree. CLA emphasizes collaboration, growth, and professional development in a culture that values diverse perspectives.

Qualifications

• Accounting and financial experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; combination of related experience, education and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions: coordinates & processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing: completes financial statements, reconciliations (bank, credit card, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accruals).
• Quarterly/Annual Processing: completes sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other forms as requested by clients.
