Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) seeks a Senior to join our CAAS team supporting the Real Estate Industry, with office options in Oak Brook, IL, Peoria, IL, Champaign, IL, or Bloomington, IL.

You will oversee client service, process day-to-day transactions, month-end close, and collaborative projects while guiding Associates and Analysts. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth within a national firm.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: Develops an understanding of each client's business/organization operations.
• Day to Day Transactions: Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
• Month End Processing: Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations and prepares financial statements.
• Other Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and preparing audit workpapers and tax return workpapers.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts.
• Special Projects: Assists with internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
