The position requires strong communication, basic math, and computer skills. Certifications in concrete tech, batch, and plant management are expected within an agreed timeframe. Overtime is possible; travel between sites may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain State Certified Concrete Technician certification within a reasonable timeframe.
• Must obtain Batch Certification within a reasonable timeframe.
• Must obtain NRMCA Concrete Plant Manager Certification within a reasonable timeframe.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to coordinate with dispatch and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations and ensure safe, efficient production.
• Coordinate scheduling with Dispatch and supervise drivers and plant personnel.
• Maintain materials, inventory, and equipment; report shortages.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies.
• Prepare and review quality tests and documentation; liaise with Technical Services as needed.
