Job summary

Hercules Materials Holdings is seeking a high-capacity operations leader with strong mechanical aptitude to strengthen an already capable ready-mix team. This role collaborates with Area Managers, plant teams, dispatch, maintenance, and executive leadership to boost reliability, efficiency, and equipment performance.

The position emphasizes practical leadership, hands-on machinery focus, and the integration of data-driven improvements, automation, and AI-enabled tools to drive plant performance

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-plant operations in ready-mix or heavy materials.
• Strong mechanical engineering background with operations leadership ability.
• Comfort with data, automation, and AI-enabled improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area Managers to improve plant and fleet performance.
• Strengthen preventive maintenance discipline and process consistency.
• Identify practical uses for data, automation and AI in operations.
• Lead change with trust, develop people, and mentor future leaders.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company standards.
