Job summary

Archer, in partnership with JPMorgan Chase, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the CONSUMER & COMMUNITY BANKING team. You will be a core technical contributor, delivering secure, scalable code and leading AI-assisted development efforts within an agile environment.

You will guide design decisions, write high-quality production code in React with TypeScript, collaborate with backend teams, and drive automation, testing, and deployment practices to strengthen our financial services

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
Experience leading the use of AI-assisted development tools with code review and test acceleration.
Strong understanding of secure and resilient engineering practices in production environments.
Hands-on UI development experience using React and TypeScript in commercial settings.
Proficiency in delivering scalable RESTful APIs and automated testing.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and automated testing standards.
Influence product design decisions and architectural direction across teams.
Collaborate with backend teams to design scalable, reusable APIs.
